M8 Motorway Pakistan – The future is here (CPEC)

The M8 Motorway Pakistan lies to the east-west of Pakistan it is connecting Sukkur– Larkana to Gwadar. The motorway partly currently under-construction, while the 193 kilometer stretch between Gwadar and Hoshab was inaugurated in February 2016

Though the motorway has been inaugurated in February 2016 for the stretch between Gwadar and Hoshab, there is still some job that needs to be done further ahead. It is being constructed by the Pakistan’s National Highway Authority.

This is the shortest way that gets connected to the N10 Highway from Gwadar International Airport via the Sabzi Mandi Road the entire stretch is approximately 5.7 Kilometers.

This is another route of getting connected to the N10 Highway from Gwadar International Airport. However it is approximately 10.2 Kilometers. Which is comparatively more then the above mentioned route.

This is the route that has been inaugurated back in February 2016 from Gwadar to Hoshab.

The stretch starts from Makran Coastal Highway N-10 and ends at N-85 Hoshab. The stretch is around approximately 237 Kilometers and takes around approx. 2 hours and 41 mins.

This is the further extension from Hoshab to Regional Cooperation for Development Highway. This is not M8 but N-85 the stretch is approximately 504 Kilometer lasting 7 hours 33 mins approx. The reason for mentioning this route is because this is part of the shortest route you can take from Gwadar to Sukkur – Larkana.

This 249 Kilometer long stretch that lasts 3 hours and 9 minutes is from Regional Cooperation for Development Highway(RCDH) to the end point of M8 Motorway.

This is the end point of M8 near Rato Dero on 55 qomi shahrah. From where another highway route is started leading to many other destinations. across Pakistan.

Now that we have seen the shortest route in parts to be sure we understand the distance and route. Below will the images of complete route along with the alternate route.

This has to is one of the shortest route from Makran Coastal Highway to Rato Dero via Turbat. It is only 968-Kilometers and the drive would take 16 hours and 6 minutes.

However, you can also take the route via Turbat and Panjgur it is a little more in kilometers (i-e) approx 21 kilometers as this route is 989-Kilometers. But the good thing about this route is that it will last only 13 hours and 23 mins. This is the much preferred route by many who travel to and from these destinations.

These are the alternate two routes that also be opted to travel. One via Karachi while the other through the Hingol National Park.

You can also take a direct flight from Gwadar International Airport to Sukkur International Airport.

This is part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). There are many more projects that are part of this. Along with China there are many other countries that are now also showing interest in the Pakistan Economy and doing their part in its revival for the better. Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia being on top of that list and many others joining in further ahead.
